MIKI & CO., LTD. is well aware of the importance of protecting our environment. In addition to reducing the environmental impact of our business activities, we take part in various initiatives and activities with our customers with the aim of preserving the environment.
Supporting Customers' Environmental Conservation Efforts
As the chemicals industry has close ties to a host of other industries, including home electronics, automobiles, clothing and pharmaceuticals, we believe that the chemical industry should take a leading role in reducing its environmental impact. As a member of the chemical industry, we apply the expertise we have gained through long experience to help our customers develop recyclable products, such as recyclable plastics. We also work to reduce the environmental impact of production processes through the raw materials and the technologies that we offer.
ISO14001 Certification
In February 2002, MIKI & CO., LTD. earned ISO 14001 certification, an international certification of environmental management systems, and we continue working to reduce the environmental impact of our operations. (Scope of certification: Headquarters, Tokyo Sales Group 1, Tokyo Sales Group 2, Osaka Branch, Nagoya Branch)

- Placing importance on harmony with the environment, we seek to prevent pollution, conserve resources and energy and follow a “3S” policy that emphasizes order and cleanliness.

- We comply with environmental regulations and ordinances, as well as other guidelines to which we have committed ourselves.
- 4. Continuous improvement of environmental management system
- We have in place environmental goals and objectives, as well as processes to ensure the continuous improvement of our environmental management system.
- 5. Raising environmental awareness
- We conduct training in line with our environmental policy to raise in-house environmental awareness.
- 6. Environmental policy disclosure
- We actively disclose our environmental policy outside the company.
